F.A.Q. and About Me

General About Me
I'm a mid-twenties transgender man living in the largely-mispronounced city of Fond du Lac, WI. I was a social activist at my alma mater in Oshkosh and am continuing in that pursuit. In my spare time I cook awesome vegetarian food, take care of my four dogs and cat, draw cartoons, write my novel, hike in my massive backyard, eat random plants I find in my lawn as I don't have the thumbs to garden, play Pokemon as if I were a Team Rocket member, collect varietal honey, watch Star Trek and fantasize about being a Starfleet captain, and perform a hell of a lot of magickal and Pagan rituals and practices. It's been an awesome roller coaster so far.

What history/certifications/qualifications have you?
I have a Bachelor's degree in Sociological Anthropology with a self-imposed emphasis on social movements and activism. I have been on the board of four student organizations, two LGBT, one Pagan, and of course Anthropology Club. Through my work with the two LGBT groups as well as our LGBT center I was awarded the Outstanding Queer Student Leadership Award the year of my graduation. I am also an ordained Pagan minister.

What projects are you up to now?
Besides this site and my Pagan site, I am also writing a bisexual science fiction novel called "After the Mars Exodus," draw zombie erotica (don't ask), and sell past life readings and crafts on Etsy.

Do you do workshops or speaking?
Yes, although I require advance notice, transportation, housing, and gratuity. Email me for inquiries and details.

Who did your web design?
The HTML and graphic design for my site was done by me. I am available for freelance web design for nonprofits and student organizations. Fees are based on group size and site size. Again, email me for details.

What's your 'real name?' - Jackson.

One of your links isn't linked. Why? - That's an essay placeholder. I plan essays to write and then write the titles so I remember to actually write them. It's probably half done. If you're really interested, send me an email to bug me to finish it.

Do you make money off this site? - No, I'm more likely to lose money off of it, which is why the completely voluntary donation button exists. So far the costs haven't been that detrimental, but as the traffic to my websites has been rising, they could easily become a problem in the future.

Can I link to you?
Yes. Optional banner:

Do you have Facebook/MySpace/etc.?
I have another website at Lunar Witch, Solar Warlock. I am also on MySpace, FetLife, Care2, CovenSpace, Twitter, and Love My FTM. Just make sure you tell me where you found me so I know.

Can I use your articles?
I would strongly prefer that people link to the articles, but that is a preference and not a rule. This is both to help drive traffic to me and will also help with YOUR bandwidth. Linking will generally help with context, as well. If you feel your use of them will help promote the causes of liberation, I encourage you to use them, but they must be similarly presented (in other words, you can't take them and then get angry if people take them from you). If it WASN'T written, drawn, or photographed by me, they are separately licensed and you'll need to get separate permission. As far as hard publications go (newsletters, zines, etc.), you have permission to use my work if it is, again, in like kind.

I found/wrote something really cool and a lot like what's on your website, can you host it for me? - Please do not send me essays you didn't write yourself. I don't need my website taken down because somebody lied about their copyrights. If you wrote one, though, and it seems like something I'd like, go ahead and send it. Don't take it personally if I don't host it. If I don't, or even if I do, you can also find hosting space at places like DeviantArt.
